We return from the break to a video package recapping Tiffany Stratton cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase weeks ago to win the WWE Women’s Championship. We then see Byron Saxton backstage live for an interview with Tiffy-Time about her first defense tonight.

WWE Women’s Championship
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Bayley

It’s main event time!

Inside the arena, Bayley’s theme hits and out she comes for her big title opportunity in our main event of the evening on this week’s show. Roxanne Perez is shown sitting in the front row as Bayley poses on the ropes in the ring. We head to a quick pre-match commercial break.

A Charlotte Flair return vignette airs when the show returns. The lights go out and we hear, “It’s Tiffy-Time!” On that note, the new WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton makes her way to the ring for her first title defense.

Following the formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion and the challenger, the bell sounds and this one officially gets off-and-running. After some basic opening back-and-forth action, we shift gears and head into a mid-match commercial break.

When we return, Stratton, who had been enjoying a comfortable offensive lead throughout, finds herself on the defensive as Bayley starts to fire up on offense. Bayley goes for a big dive through the ropes to Tiffy on the floor, but Tiffy blasts her with a big shot coming out.

Tiffy smashes Bayley’s dome off of the steel ring frame. Bayley climbs up to the ring apron after nearly being counted out, only for Tiffy to kick her back to the floor. Tiffy comes out after her, but walks into a Bayley-to-belly.

As both ladies are down and recovering on the floor at ringside, the show heads into a second mid-match commercial break as this high stakes championship main event continues. When we return, Tiffy tries cartwheeling into an Alabama Slam, but Bayley slams her on the commentary desk instead.

Bayley suplexes Tiffy off the table and onto the unforgiving floor. She stops to jaw with Roxanne Perez in the front row. Back in the ring, Bayley hits a big elbow drop off the ropes for a close two-count. Bayley hits a modified F-5 for another close two.

Bayley looks for Rose-plant, but Stratton counters. Stratton looks for a move, but Bayley counters. Tiffy double-counters into a cartwheel Alabama Slam. She hops on the ropes and connects with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.

With the win, Tiffy-Time continues as Stratton retains her WWE Women’s Championship in her first defense. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!

Winner and STILL WWE Women’s Champion: Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton’s Chaotic WWE Women’s Championship Celebration

On that note, we shift gears and head into another commercial break. When we return, Stratton makes her way to the ring and gloats for what feels like forever, in pretty boring repetitive fashion, until she is interrupted by Nia Jax.

Jax comes to the ring and congratulates Stratton for finally rubbing two brain cells together and doing something to take advantage of the situation. She claims credit for Stratton being where she is. She warns her to hand the title back over or else.

Bayley’s theme hits and out she comes. She mocks Nia for being taken advantage of, and tells Stratton she’s going to be the one to beat her for the title. Naomi comes out with Bianca Belair and essentially says the same thing. A big brawl breaks out with all of the women. As they are all in a pile brawling on the mat, Stratton heads to the top-rope and hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever onto all of them.

WWE Women’s Championship Fatal-4-Way Eliminator
Bianca Belair vs. Naomi vs. Bayley vs. Nia Jax

Nick Aldis comes out as Stratton is walking to the back. He says seeing is how they all want a shot at the women’s title. They will compete against each other in a fatal-4-way match to determine the number one contender.

That match will take place right now. The brawl with the four continues in the ring as we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break. When we return from the break, the bell sounds and all four men begin brawling in the middle of the ring.

Jax throws Bayley out to the floor. She whips Naomi into Belair in the corner. She goes to follow in for a splash, but Naomi moves. Naomi and Belair look to double-suplex Jax, but Jax counters and double-suplexes them both by herself.

After some more back-and-forth action, we head into a mid-match commercial break as this high stakes fatal-4-way continues. When we return, we see Jax and Naomi are in the ring and Naomi delivers some kicks to Jax and takes her down with a tornado face-buster.

Bayley and Belair enter and start with punches on Jax. Both ladies slam into Jax sending her outside the ring and now Bayley and Belair trade punches. Bayley rolls up Belair for a two count and Belair tries for a KOD and gets rolled up for a two count. Jax comes in and takes out Bayley and Belair.

Naomi attacks Jax and gets her down and hits a split legged moonsault and covers for a near fall. Bayley hits a flying elbow on Jax and Naomi breaks the pin. Belair hits a 450 splash on Jax and Bayley pulls Belair off of Jax and all three women try to pin Jax. Candice LeRae runs down and tends to Jax outside the ring.

In the ring, Belair and Naomi double team Bayley sending her out for the ring. Belair and Naomi are left in the ring and before they can go at it, Belair takes out Bayley outside and Naomi tries the same with Jax who catches Naomi and slams her into the apron. In the ring, Belair takes down Jax and Bayley breaks the pin.

Bayley beats on Belair and covers and Naomi breaks it up. They go back and forth doing this with a different lady breaking the hold after another tries pinning another contender. Jax throws Belair into the turnbuckles and shes sent out of the ring with a double dropkick.

Belair hits a moonsault on Bayley and she cover for a two count. Belair goes for the KOD on Bayley and LeRae grabs Belair’s braid and releases it, which smacks Naomi. Belair and Jax fight outside and crash into the announce table. In the ring, Bayley hits the Rose plant on Naomi for the win to earn the first shot at Stratton’s title.

Winner and NEW No. 1 Contender: Bayley

WWE Women’s Championship
Nia Jax (c) vs. Naomi

Backstage, Nia Jax is complaining to Candice LeRae ahead of her scheduled WWE Women’s Championship defense against Naomi on tonight’s show. Cole and Graves also remind us that The Usos & Sami Zayn will battle The New Bloodline also later in the evening. We head to another commercial break.

When we return, we see Sami Zayn confronted by Carmelo Hayes backstage. The Usos come up and Hayes walks off with the three Usos clowning him. The Usos jokingly tell Zayn he needs to cut his hair as he walks off. They bump shoulder first into Kevin Owens as he walks by. Owens tells Jey he needs to watch his back. Jey turns and sees Jimmy.

Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes are shown talking. Aldis tells Cody he’s to stay away from physicality until his title defense in the ladder match against Owens at WWE Royal Rumble. Rhodes appreciates this, but insists he’s dropping Owens if he sees him “on sight.”

Inside the arena, Naomi’s theme hits and the WWE Universe “Feels the GLOW” as she heads to the ring for her big championship opportunity. As she settles inside the ring, the show heads into a quick pre-match commercial break.

As the show returns, Naomi is shown in the ring looking ready to rock and roll. Bianca Belair is in her corner at ringside. Nia Jax’s theme hits and out comes the defending WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, accompanied by WWE Speed Women’s Champion Candice LeRae.

Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton is noticeably absent as this match gets ready to get started. After the final formal pre-match ring introductions by new SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia, the bell sounds and we get this title tilt officially off-and-running.

We see some initial back-and-forth action early on, but then Jax pulls into the offensive lead. Naomi goes for a springboard spot off the ropes from the apron, but runs into a headbutt from Jax that sends her to the floor. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial break.

When we return, the action picks up. Just as Naomi seems to have it won, Tiffany Stratton’s theme hits and the crowd explodes. She comes out and teases cashing in the Money In The Bank briefcase, only to attack the ref after handing it to him.

She then helps Nia win, only to turn and attack LeRae and Jax afterwards. She cashes in. Belair hits a K.O.D. to Jax and Stratton follows up with the quick victory. The crowd goes bonkers. We have a brand new WWE Women’s Champion. It’s Tiffy-Time! We head to another commercial break.

Winner and NEW WWE Women’s Champion: Tiffany Stratton

Naomi, Tiffany Stratton Sign With SmackDown

We shoot backstage and we see Naomi coming out of Nick Aldis’ locker room, to the excitement of Bianca Belair, Shotzi and Michin. Tiffany Stratton walks up and asks where her applause is because she just signed with SmackDown, too. She smacks Michin in the face and walks off. Aldis comes out and makes a match for them tonight.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Michin

It’s main event (match) time!

Back inside the arena, the theme for Tiffany Stratton hits and out comes the former NXT Women’s Champion for our next match of the evening. As she settles into the ring, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break.

When we return from the break, Michin makes her way out and settles in the ring. The bell sounds and we get this one officially off-and-running. Stratton starts off strong, but Michin takes over and controls the flow of the action for the next couple of minutes.

Stratton trips Michin up on the ring apron from the floor as we head into a mid-match break with her now in the offensive driver’s seat. When we return, Tiffy gets in Michin’s face and yells at her telling her she’s nothing. Michin slaps her back for slapping her backstage earlier and fights back.

Tiffy-Time ultimately kicks in from there on, as the former NXT Women’s Champion takes back over and hits a big Alabama Slam before heading to the top-rope and finishing this one off with her Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the pin fall victory.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton
